Line up the stars and bring on the accents! Knives Out has a cast so large you’d be forgiven for thinking that nearly all of them are due to be bumped off.
They’re not. There’s only one death, it happens quite soon and lots of detail about it is explained relatively early on.
If you are hoping for an extravagant David Suchet-esque slow simmering murder where the answer is worked out with details that no one but the investigative detective knows about until the denouement at the end – you’ll only get 50% of that. In my opinion, of course. Always just my opinion. You might totally love it, but it wasn’t what we were hoping for on the night.
I give this movie 400 micrograms of naloxone out of 600.
