The Kid Who Would Be King (2019) 120min | Action, Adventure, Family | 15 February 2019 (UK) Summary: A band of kids embark on an epic quest to thwart a medieval menace.
Countries: UK, USALanguages: English

A bullied boy finds a sword on a building site and begins a quest to find his dad, aided by his friend, his former bullies and a boy who sometimes turns into an owl who sometimes turns into Captain Picard. Oh, and there is a villain to overcome with the aid of a group of plucky kid/s.

Rated PG and thus a good enough tale for the tale it is trying to tell. Our Young Person is perhaps a little old now to enjoy such gentle forays into fiction. I cannot complain too much, given the circumstances. It is a good PG movie. We particularly liked the somatic components of spell casting.
