We watched the MST3K cover – you’ll have to find your own link if you want to as well.

So despite starring Cybill Shepherd (in a variety of odd outfits, including a shirt that looks like it’s from a pyjama set) and Martin Landau (his character has a great story about some bacon), this is a truly, extraordinarily terrible movie.

And you know that I say that kind of thing with great kindness, don’t you? Because I not-so-quietly think that it’s a great world where terrible movies can be made and endure. It’s not terrible as in controversial. It could be inclusive (it isn’t) and it could be marginally more empowering to females (it isn’t very) but if you want to burn away some time mostly by watching cars driving and parking, and at the same time be left with a bewildering sense of ‘what the heck just happened’, this is the movie for you.

Oh, the plot? Aliens, kids, time passes, strange occurrences, bacon story, weird unaging prospector, cattle mutilations, mystery solved, and they all lived happily ever after.

“My eyes are higher, mate.”
