It is the 1950s and nearly everyone at a small town in New Mexico is at the basketball game.
There’s a handful of people around. Fay, on the switchboard. Everett, at the radio station. Some babies and babysitters, and a couple in a red car.]
And then the noise comes in over the switchboard, so Fay and Everett play it on the radio.
And then they find out what it means.
Really lovely movie to watch. Clean, crisp, joyously long scenes of dialogue that help us know and like the main characters. Perfect scene setting.
