Welcome to Potter’s Bluff. It’s a lovely little seaside town. Very local, you understand. Very friendly folk. Just don’t, well, linger. In fact, you know, I’d actually say, hasten a bit. You know what? Don’t go to Potter’s Bluff. It’s really not worth it.

I’m not going to say any more about the plot. You can go look that up on the internet if you want spoilers. All I’m going to say is that this kept me watching all the way through. The plot moves on steadily, with a gentle but inexorable build that won’t let go. The cast isn’t small, there’s a whole town full of folk, but the script keeps things tight and focused on just a few individuals.

It’s an older movie now but don’t let that fool you. This one has suspense and decent make up effects. Also, it has the actress who played Dale Arden in Flash Gordon!
