I’m always acutely aware when I post things that may accidentally make it look like I’m smarter or more educated than I actually am. To be clear, I have to work hard to be just about average by my standards. I do not speak any languages other than English and a mere word or two of Gaeilge, which to date, has only really been of impressive use when I could say the name of the ship in Sea Fever properly.
Edit: the IMDb app listed it under the original name but now I’ve posted the article, of course, typical, pulling through the English title instead. Well, too late now.
I not only watched this movie under its English name, Colossus and the Headhunters, but I also watched the Mystery Science Theatre version. Double whammy of unrefined behaviour, I’m afraid.
In this movie, an extraordinary amount of ‘not much’ happens. An island is destroyed by a volcano. Some people escape and are rescued by a passing hero. On a small raft. Without obvious food or drink supplies. Anyway. They sail on, and find another island.
Unfortunately for us, it’s quite dull. There are some tribes. There’s a queen of a tribe. Some Things happen. I can’t remember any more and I’m not watching it again to write a more accurate review.

I’m going to be honest, I mostly remember this movie because of the MST3K episode wrapped around it. A cute pet called Nummy Muffin Coocool Butter is SO CUTE but sheds hair everywhere.
